Caleigh and Andrew, along with his cousins, drove to Montreal for a casual weekend get-away. Caleigh wondered why Andrew kept checking his watch, but timing was critical because Andrew was having their hotel room staged.
When they arrived, the room was filled with roses, lighted candles and photographs of the couple. Then Andrew proposed – and the proposal was a total surprise.
The marriage service and reception were at The Warehouse in Toronto, where they entertained more than 300 guests.
On the table with the guest book, they displayed wedding pictures of their parents and grandparents. The importance of family was further emphasized by the music that was played during the service. It was composed by Caleigh’s late grandfather.
Among the brooches on her bouquet was one that had belonged to her late grandmother.
Their favourite moment was dancing with friends and family and being surrounded by everyone who was important to them.
